June 8, 2011: Stand Against Sitting, Brent's Roomba, MANGRATE, Chonch, Brent = Gross, Book Club

Marc is still out finding his spirit animal, but Cioffi, Salwin, and Brent are around to yap a bit. They chat a bit about the ups and downs that is the rollercoaster of Brent's life, as well as MANGRATE (the only gift you should get your dad). In Marc's absence everyone grabs the opportunity to discuss the sporting news, and Brent's inability to produce a non-gross segment. Salwin and Brent don't read the book Cioffi asked them to for the Low Budget FM book club.

For the Book Club, I would have imagined the first book being something Foucault or for some reason Vonnegut comes to mind?
Great show guys.
Ran over a squirrel while I was taking my stand against sitting...maybe not a good idea when driving
That's why I use a Roman Chariot now.
I'm in a wheelchair. Is it ok for me to skip the standing up against sitting?
Can I suggest Siting Against Stand Up Against Sitting?
I think you'd have Brent and myself in your corner on this one.
@JoeG - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standing_frame
@cioffi: You should call for a studio sit-in to take a stand against Salwin's Stand Against Sitting campaign.
I'd stand against that. Salwin is making an important statement here. I'd say that the only way you would sit against standing against sitting would be if you love Hitler and killing puppies. Why do you love Hitler and killing puppies? That's just fucked.
Sheesh Cioffi... I thought it was Salwin who got squeamish so easily.
(I'd also like to note that my spell checker thinks you should be called "Coffin.")
I thought Salwin was crazy for his stand against sitting, I mean, I love sitting. Then I read this article: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-492543/Sitting-desk-day-bad-health-smoking.html
It turns out sitting is as bad for you as smoking. Looks like John will out-live us all!
I think I'll sit this one out.
