4: Low Budget Radio: 3-11-2007

"Classic" episode -- kicks off with us both thankful that we're still on the air. Tod tells the story of Grandma Time. We tell stories and roll calls on the topic of dating when one or both people in the relationship have no money. Another pair of classic moments never repeated on Low Budget Radio: the guys talk in depth with Tod's girlfriend, and the janitors come into the studio to empty the trash cans while the show is live.

"Classic" episode discussing the nerdification of America -- the first attempt at a topic that didn't directly deal with being poor. We also launch straight into material rather than nervously bouncing off each other. INFAMOUS episode as this is the first and only time we actually banged on a pot with a spoon live on the air. Also our first time out with Board Op Radar who loved to put drops and music beds into the show.

"Classic" episode: our third outing on 103.7 FREE FM in San Diego saw us presenting the Low Budget Oscars. It was also the first show we ever did that got "promo'd" -- a clip from this episode was used in a commercial for the show the following week. Good times! Fun fact: our intro music has static in it. The CD players at the station were dirty. The static was around until we finally got produced imaging that was played from the computer. At this point Marc still picked the music and brought it in on CD with a track listing.
